Small but highly functional, this one bedroom apartment located in the Swedish city of Gothenburg is an inspiring jewel of the Scandinavian style. The apartment of about 40 square meters, is an excellent example of cleverly used space.
The plan of the apartment is very functionally designed. The kitchen is separated from the space that is living room and a bedroom at the same time. Bright corridor with white walls at the entrance of apartment gives a pleasant welcoming feeling. One wall painted in graphite gray contrasts the floor in light wood and visually separates the place for coats.
On the left of the hallway is the kitchen, which double doors lead into the sunny balcony. Large glass doors to make the balcony to look like an extension of the kitchen. Gray mosaic tiles stand out from the white kitchen cabinets that are arranged on one wall.
The small dining table may accommodate four people. Floral wallpaper in gray-blue combined with plenty of natural light make the room’s appearance pleasant and airy.
Three-meter high ceilings and two large windows are striking elements that make the living room impressive. The decorations are kept to minimum and the colour range is limited on black and white. The low barrier separates the sleeping corner of the living room and provides more privacy.
There is small space that is also a wardrobe and a study. It is another example for the maximum usage of space.
