How To Make Guilt-Free Slow Cooker Fudge

If you have that insatiable craving for chocolate again, take a little of your time to make this delicious yet guilt-free Slow Cooker Fudge. Cooker Fudge is as nutritious as it is delicious because it is made with dark chocolate and coconut milk.

Dark chocolate is good to maintain level blood sugar, increase blood flow to throughout the body and lower blood pressure. Coconut milk is an excellent alternative to dairy and contains high amounts of vitamins and nutrients. The Fudge is perfectly sweet without adding any refined sugar and only using honey for the sweet. The process is very easy and is just a matter of tossing the ingredients in the pot and letting the slow cooker do the rest.

Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raw mild honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk, (canned, not in a carton)
  • Dash of sea salt

 

Instructions:

Add coconut milk, honey, salt, chocolate chips and stir to combine. Cover it and cook it on low for two hours without stirring.

Turn off the slow cooker after 2 hours uncover, add vanilla and stir to combine ingredients. Cool the slow cooker until the fudge has reached room temperature. Stir vigorously for 5-10 minutes until it loses some the gloss.

Use a non-stick cooking spray to lightly spray a 1 quart casserole dish. Put the fudge into dish, cover it and refrigerate it for 4 hours or until firm. Cut it into 30 pieces and enjoy.
