The Home Made Snickers Recipe

What you need:

  • Layer #1:
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

 

  • Layer #2
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 7oz jar marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted peanuts chopped, roughly chopped

 

  • Layer #3
  • 1 14oz bag of caramels
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream

 

  • Layer #4
  • 1 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

Instructions:

Start with ingredients for layer #1 and line a 9×13 pan with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. In a microwavable bowl on 50% power, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cook for 1 minute and then stir and cook in 30 second increments until melted.

Later pour the chocolate into the pan and spread out evenly and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden. Start with gathering ingredients for layer #2

then melt butter in a medium sized pan over medium heat. Add in milk and sugar and stirring until it has dissolved. Stir occasionally and bring to a boil and let cook for 5 minutes. Add in marshmallow fluff, vanilla and peanut butter and stir until smooth.

Spread the nougat filling on top of the chocolate layer after removing pan from heat and fold in peanuts. Allow it to completely get cool before you continue. Gather the ingredients for layer #3 in a small saucepan and cook caramel and whipped cream over low heat for about 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally.

Pour over nougat layer and allow it to cool completely before you continue. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwavable bowl on 50% power for layer #4. Cook for 1 minute while stirring and cook in 30 second increments until melted. Pour chocolate into the pan and spread out evenly and plan pan in refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours or until ready to serve. Pop the entire square and peel away the foil slowly and then cut into bars.
